when i go through a breakup or need to turn someone down, i would tell them that. But why do guys do this "ignoring you" thing as a way of breaking up? isn't telling someone directly easier?

How many guys do you know that can deal with their feelings let alone deal with yours after a break up. He took the easy way out.

Move on.

Oh yes, telling the truth would be far easier for everyone involved, but I think a guy's pride probably gets in the way, I mean why break off something if you don't have to? (guy's way of thinking) Just keep her hanging on for when I need/want her.

Now all guys are not like this, but some are, and perhaps that is what he is doing. If he is not respectful enough to you to tell you what is going on and be truthful, then that should be a good sign to you to never give him any of your time for anything again.

It's way easier avoiding someone than having to go through telling them & giving reasons as to why. Get over him & move on. Even if he's not "breaking up", he's avoiding for some reason. Find something a little more positive.

i think your boy friend has a ego problem this is usually a guys thing we think we can conquer the world but can not even hold on to a girl for a while i had a girl friend once when i was 18 but i broke with her because all she wanted was sex but since then she has been with 5 guys and still have not find the right one so i think if he is not telling you, you should tell him. but let me tell you some thing do not just fall for the looks or the muscle in a guy look beyond that

I completely agree with you. But I think guys are scared of missing out...or possibly what they "think" may be better really could turn out NOT to be. But more than likely he's not being direct with you because he doesn't deal well with confrontation or he doesn't want to deal with the fighting that will happen directly afterwards.

a man and a woman are different in the ways they express themselves.....anyone should tell someone ideally if they are done, but it doesnt always happen...it does happen both ways...ive been there and heard of other guys been there before where the woman does the same thing...maybe he was hurt before that way and it is his way of feeling superior...who knows...move on and don't look back...no need to hang on if he isn't trying to contact you

Men don't like drama, tears or being begged to stay so avoiding your calls etc...is his way of saying it is over. But......call him and tell him that you have figured that he has ended your relationship and you wish he would have had the balls to call you and say so. Not necessary to call you now, you are moving on. Your better off without this one!

Some guys know that girls will cry so they do it that way instead. Or they may not think it's serious enough to even need to tell you. I think they figure you know there is no relationship if you don't hear from them.

Some guys are just like that, they don't all care how someone else feels. Just give up on calling, if he doesn't call you back the forget about him.

Well, not all guys have balls to face the others when it comes to truth and reality. What I would suggest is to act normally in order for him to tell you in the face. You deserve it. He is afraid of your reaction.
