My daughter is a flower girl in a wedding the she's getting her hair done for the day. Do I pay for it or does the bride pay for it?

You pay for it unless the bride has said something.

This is a tricky area, I tend to think that having hair and make-up done should be the brides responsibility because its not a "necessary" item, its an extra that she wants done. But others dont see it this way and expect that if you accept an invitation to be in a wedding you pay for ALL your own expenses. And while I personally agree with this in most cases, I dont agree with the hair and make-up part of it because most women are capable of doing their own hair and make-up themselves, they cant however sew their own dresses and sleep in their cars. Know what I mean? But to your question, unless the bride has said something, be prepared to pay for it yourself.

If the bride offers to pay, that's great. If not, then you pay for it. It shouldn't be that expensive and your daughter will look adorable. (I was just in a wedding where one of the flower girls got their hair done professionally and the other didn't and you could tell a huge difference, especially in the pictures.)

When I was the bride, I paid for my girls to get their hair done, and that was a nice amount of money......Although in the wedding I have been in I paid to get my hair done, my daughter is going to be in a wedding this year also as a flower girl, and I will be paying that too.

Unless offered by the bride, the parent(s) of the flower girl should pay for the wedding attire, accessories and hair.

Everything having to do with your daughter's involvement in the wedding is your responsibility. You are doing it as a favor to the bride. If the bride offers to pay for it that's fine or if she wants a particular style or stylist to do her hair, she should be prepared to pay for it - especially if she chooses something expensive like Phillip Pelusi's, you could be looking at at minimum $80. Good luck.

You pay for it, unfortunately. The bride/groom have so much stuff to pay for you should assume you are paying for everything you need unless she says otherwise.
