Its funny.Everyone who thinks we are killing Iraqis and cares so much for the Iraqi people.Have never even been to Iraq. Will never go becouse they are cowards. We are in Iraq fighting an insurgency.90% of the Iraqi casualties are from are other Muslims.Sunni against Shiite.
I love the fact that liberal cowards back home listen to the CNN and just fill in the large gaps themselves. They don't care to come here and make an informed opinion of their own.

You say we are fighting against an insurgency. Ok. An insurgency made up of people from Iraq, with the aid of other people from the area. Ok. An insurgency is essentially an internal rebellion in response to unfavorable political and social conditions. Right?
So what is the insurgency fighting? Why are they fighting? They are an insurgency because they are rebelling against the current invasion and occupation force that is controling their country. As a result, innocents are getting caught in the crossfire. They are also fighting against other factions of their own people in a desperate power grab.
I don't have the solution to this issue. Radicals like to give really quick easy answers (Left- leave, ultra right- nuke the country) but the reality is there is no quick and easy answer. They need to work out their differences and decide to either work together or seperate the country. But you can't force people to get along at the barrel of a gun and not expect some form of resentment which can manifest itself in violent ways.

George W. Bush's response to the destruction of the American Economic Base was to attempt to monopolize the world's oil supply. Here is the real reason we are at war:
Starting with Ronald Reagan, thru Herbert Walker and with the worst damage done under Clinton, and continuing up to today, the United States of America has been at war. This is the weapon that for the past twenty plus years the enemies of this country have been using to destroy America. Greed.
Prior to Reagan, the federal government governed people, if a company made a product, any product and it cost a dollar's worth of labor to produce it in the U.S. and a dime's worth of labor to produce in elsewhere, the government's position was, fine it's a free country, produce it wherever you want, but if you sell it in the U.S. at a 90 cent deficit to our economy, you will have to pay a 90 cent tariff on it to protect our own industrial base. For 200 years it worked and America prospered. Reagan started the change, and Clinton cemented it as a disaster for the American industrial base, But it was perpetrated by foreign enemy's with intelligence and forthought.
In a direct conflict no force on the planet can stand against the might of the United States of America, not the Middle East, not the European Union, not a united Asia, no one. They know this, so they chose an indirect attack. Much the way a frog in a pot of water will not react to gradual tempature change, and eventually be boiled to death, the American economy, powered by individual greed of individuals in power, was used to destroy the industrial base of it's own country. Foriegn backed international conglomerates continue even as I write this to simply "buy" America's industy, and destroy the United States of America as we know it.
This is not a Republican vs Democrat or a Liberal vs Conservative problem it's an American problem, one each and everyone of us must face, regardless of our petty differences, be they ideological, religious or ethnic, they are minor in comparasion to the destruction of the greatest civilization mankind has ever created.
Much like Socrates loved his society more than his own life, I too love America. But unlike Socrates I advocate life instead of death when my society wrongs me, American mistakes don't end my love of it, they simply are more work we must do.
Without an industrial base, a country cannot equip it's military or support it's citizens. The American public is the frog in the anology. We must educate everyone we know, and insure all of us hold our politicians accountable for those mistakes. Only support those who are aware of and make the committment to protect America by protecting it's people. I hope I helped/

The religion of millions of Americans is the Almighty Dollar; their god is greed; their temple of worship the television monitor sitting in the center of family affairs, like an idol being adored and venerated for hours at a time, its commands being obeyed, its lies and deceptions being absorbed just as its fictions manipulate human brains, rewiring minds and conceptions of a real world that will never attain the perfection seen on the monitor, sending reality spiralling into the vortex of psychological confusion and mental unhappiness.
A large and authoritative study, just published in “the Journal of the American Medical Association” confirms that there is more mental illness and insanity, far more, in America than you find in other advanced societies. Psychologically deranged, cannot be reconciled with wisdom.
President Eisenhower expressing astonishment and alarm on discovering that fully half of all Americans have below average intelligence!
The study led by a Harvard Medical School researcher, found evidence of mental problems in 26.4% of people in the United States, versus, for example, 8.2% of people in Italy, Serbia 23%, Croatia 21.8 %, Bosnia 2.9%, Germany 8.1%, Islamic world 3.2%, etc. The researchers were concerned with matters such as lack of access to treatment and under-treatment, but for those concerned about a safe and decent world, I think the salient finding is simply America's high percentage. The world is being led by a nation where more than one-quarter of the people have genuine mental problems.
The finding is strangely both comforting and disturbing.
It is comforting because it helps explain why Americans continue supporting a man proven wrong every time he opens his mouth, a man who has de-stabilised parts of the world in the name of creating stability, a man claiming sound business principles who has pitched the United States into deficit free-fall, and a man who arouses suspicion and fear throughout the world.
There is a principal which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments, and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance -- that principal is contempt (disregard) prior to investigation.

Because WE ARE
to say that we are not-- simply because there are fighters coming from all these other places is just plain ludicrous !!
There are no less than twelve seperate factions based in the Iraqi citizenry that are at one another and damned well AT US !!!
So, where ever you are getting this crap about "we ain't fightin' Iraqis" take it to some other market to vend it --- it won't fly here !!!
