God, of course! Genesis 1:1 says, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." Just as any creator is the "highest power" over his creation, so God is the highest power on Earth!

Ether. It is the ethereal spirit that everything is composed of. Everything contains ether(NOT THE CHEMICAL). It is the unmeasurable force/substance. Everything in the world is mainly empty space, but this space is not empty, it is ether. It cannot be measured because you cannot measure something with instruments that contains it and you cannot perform experiments on something that everything contains. Ether is just the name that has been given to the force that connects everything together (called synchronicity). You can call it God if you want to, you can call it anything, but it is undoubtedly the most mysterious force, and would appear to be the highest power. It is through entheogens and shamanic-like rituals that allow you to perceive your interconnectedness with everything, that ether is more dominant. These practices have existed since the beginning of man, and always will exist(although they are suppressed and condemned as being "not normal" by the sheep of this planet. It is quite obvious through the slightest amount of research. Look at the name of your profile (the asker). It is reindeer. I don't know if you are aware or not of the significance of such. I hope you are. If you are not, as I can guarantee most of the others that have/will answer aren't, I will explain in short (you can learn all the details if you are not a sheep that baas along with the accepted knowledge that free thinkers scoff at, and continue researching such). In the ancient customs of many tribes in Siberia(that are still practiced purposely and purposelessly by many today) there lies the worship of the most famous mushroom, the red and white(most commonly) spotted Amanita Muscaria. This mushroom grows mainly under pine trees, and many times over night. This mushroom contains a chemical compound called Ibotenic Acid. This chemical compound can be quite poisonous to humans, and even fatal in very high doses(and without the proper spiritual preparation. Now, the Siberian Tribes use this mushroom in their Winter Solstice ritual (practiced on December 25th). The Amanita Muscaria is used for its hallucinogenic properties. In order to obtain these, the Ibotenic Acid must be converted into a chemical called Muscamole. This conversion can be done two ways. One is to allow the mushrooms to dry(preferably in the sun), and the other is through the consumption of the mushroom. Now it is quite obvious that the first procedure is easier and safer than the latter, but not as quick or potent. Both are used, though. Prior to performing the Winter Solstice ritual, the shamans will go out and collect the red and white packages from under the pine trees. They will then take the collected Amanitas and find a patch of trees that are in a very sunny area. They will then place the ornaments, I mean mushrooms, on the trees and allow them to dry. After they have dried, the shamans will gather the mushrooms(usually in a sack) and carry them back to the village. During the winter in the northern part of Siberia(where these tribes live) they receive great deals of snowfall. This causes the doors and windows of their huts to be blocked by snow. Hence, in order to deliver the mushrooms, the shamans must climb through the opening in the tops of the huts that we call chimneys. Now, the other method is only practiced by the shamans that are able to handle the more potent form. This practice was acquired by the shaman(named St. Nicholas) when they observed the reindeer(which are native to northern Siberia) eating their favorite treat(the Amanita Muscaria). The shaman will find reindeer that have eaten this mushroom and then drink their urine, in order to consume the newly converted Muscamole. Now, if you are still reading without laughing at how "absurd" this is, then congratulations. You are able to break away/already have broken away from the herd. Only a sheep would doubt something so obvious. You tell me if there is a better description of Christmas. This is just some of the esoteric knowledge that lies out there. Open up and embrace Gnosis (Latin for knowledge). That is how our brains are meant to work, because that is how the world works. Through ether, everything is connected. Therefore, if you find a string(s) of information that fits together perfectly and solves questions, allow it to fit together, because that is most likely the closest to the truth you will ever get. It is impossible to know everything about anything. Yet, through the connectedness of everything we can get pretty damn close.

I think compassion is one of the highest powers on earth. Without it we cannot experience joy, love, peace, happiness or practice whatever set of beliefs we have. We cannot relieve someone else's suffering including our own and we could not experience hope for a better world.

Love - although that word has now been connoted to death to mean a lot of different things, so I will call it Joy. The highest power on this earth - the thing that can move mountains and make miracles happen. If you can maintain your Joy you can do anything.
Peace!

There is no highest power on earth. You must be referring to God who would be simply "THE HIGHEST POWER". Oh..and HE is not a WHAT, he is a WHO.
