How can become less stubborn? my bf yells at me all the time about being stubborn, i know i can be at time. and i feel really bad cuz each time i try to be less stubborn, i end up where i started. i feel useless. i do like him a lot, i dont want no one else, but i cant seem to change.

Stubborn is another word for selfish.
This means that you're selfish in your ways of thinking; close-minded; unfair, etc.
You stick to your points-of-view without consideration for objectivity.
Let go of what you "feel" you know and accept other's opinions.
You don't have to adapt to their thinking - just listen and accept.

You can't give the mind what it can't digest!

Stubborn about what? Don't compromise your beliefs or values, but if you are being stubborn over a situation when you know you are in the wrong, then you should probably try to admit defeat and accept that sometimes things just don't go your way.

However if you are sticking firm because the situation means a lot to you, and compromise backing down completely isn't an option for you...then stick to your guns. Wishy washy people aren't kewl.

I know you like him, but he should like you for who you are, if you are trying, then he should appreciate that. Relationships aren't about changing the people in them, sometimes you have to compromise, but you shouldn't have to change who you are!
