Has anyone ever had such a horrible time trying to find bridal shoes?? I've looked at every online shoe place I can find. Maybe you know someplace I haven't checked? All I want is an all white toeless mule/slide with no ankle strap with a thin heel under 2". Can anyone help?

I, too, faced your same dilemma but to top it off I have a very small foot. Why are shoes one of the hardest things to find? Most of us wore a long dress that didn't even show the shoes but that garter toss throws a wrench in the works...

I put some links for shoes you can get for around $40. Hope they help!

Congrats & good luck!

Yes, It was hard. Try going for something that's comfort even if it's not white, and then see if you can have it recover or dye with a local shoe maker. I have three dresses that night so I have to find 3 pair of shoes. I end with a light blue heel for my wedding dress because it's comfortable and the right height. I didn't sweat about the color since my dress cover it up. Go for comfort because you will be in it for a long, long time. I also change in to an evening dress and a traditional Chinese dress, I end up wearing something I already have because it's more comfortable that way. But even with that, my feet still hurt by the end of the night that I kick them off and went bare foot. I was too drunk too care by then. Have a pair of flip flop with you so you can wear it as soon as the party's over.

I've looked all over for shoes, I had originally found some on payless.com, and now just my luck - not there anymore. The bridal shop where I got my dress, bridesmaids dresses, etc, has shoes, but nothing like what I want. I have no answer for you, lol, just wanted to share in the pain!

Try Davids Bridal or Nine West. Nine West carries a lot of different types of shoes. I bought a pair of slip on slides with gorgeous crystals on the foot piece.

I too had a hard time finding the perfect weddig shoe. Initially I wanted something not so dressy and was looking for white sneakers...but my family and friends talke dme out of it.....but that made things worse since I didn't want to be too uncomfortable at the reception........so I understand......but depending on how much time you have and money, I'd sit in front of a computer and do a general search for wedding shoes........some suggested websites would be:

www.bridalshoes.com
www.qualitybridalshoes.com
www.bellissimabridalshoes.com
www.perfectdetails.com
www.myglassslipper.com

good luck..................

With spring coming up, it will become easier to find something. I found mine by accident -- I saw a bridal store going out of business. But remember to keep comfort as your top priority. No one is going to see your shoes!

You want comfortable, you want easy?

Do what I did, find the simplest, whitest (if that is in the color scheme), most comfortable pair of Flip Flops you can.

Yeah it sounds stupid until your bridesmaids love you for it and you aren't dancing at the reception bare foot. One of the best choices I made for my wedding was my diamond studded flip flops. I was comfy, they were cute, and everyone loved it in the end.

Remember, you want to be happy, not uncomfortable on your big day...

have you tried a payless shoe store? I think they have a website. But they have the best ones that I had seen so far
