Leg cramps, are largely due to Potassium imbalance, not lactic acid. So eat a few bannanns, your blood pressure medicine may act through your kidneys dumping potassium or more likely sodium, water will follow causing a decreased blood volume, and thus decreased blood pressure. So your medication may be causing this, my advice would be to try and substitute potassium for sodium to some extent in your diet.
