I've been obsessing way too much over a guy who I used to be friends with, but is unavailable since he has a gf overseas. The bad thing is that we work at the same place and I see him everyday. It's gotten to the point where we don't talk since he's been playing head games with me and claims he doesn't want to talk to me, but he is still looking at me. The thing is I am beginning to hate him, but I don't want the hatred consume me.

The decision is yours to let these feelings consume you.
The truth is YOU are the ONLY person who has control over how you feel. Nobody can make you feel a certain way unless you let them. Don't give him control over you like that.
Decide that you don't care anymore. Act like you dont care anymore. Act like he is just some guy that you work with.
Eventually, you will start to feel that way.
Also, remember some guys like to play headgames and
as long as you let him he will continue.
He may be an a*s, but the way you are feeling is completely up to you.

You have to make the choice to let it go, and then do so. You know there is no future there so why torment yourself or allow yourself to become angry or filled with hatred, for no real reason?
If he's playing "head games" with you intentionally then he's not a kewl person so why feel sorry about missing out on someone like that?
If the "head games" are all in your head due to your obsession, you need to back away and look at the situation more objectively.

Thats the way we all are,"we want what we cant have" . The best way to solve this problem is to turn the tables on him start ignoring him and dont show interest and more than likely he will start obsessing over you because like I said "we want what we cant have"

pretend he's not there don't even look his way because he knows u like him and he's trying to make u look stupid with u paying attention to him all the time. just keep busy if u have to try hard to get a guy then he's not worth it....it may be hard but u should just move on another guy will like u.

accept the fact that he will never be yours and then focus all the feelings you have for him on some ons else that you can have. It worked for me

To my opinion, i think you should leave him alone. if he doesn't want to be bother with you. then say bye. and if he comes back to you and start talking to you. tell him didn't u want me to stop talking to you. to the left to the left.
