silly question i forgot but now i'm over worried! You are protected during your week free of the right?
I think i am but the ring isn't there it will this weekend but last night am i safe

wow a lot of peeps are prago on the ring!
WTF I use this 100% correct ring never comes out i'm very careful to double check everything i'm such a worry wort!
now i want to know if the people who have a baby from the ring if you used it correctily 100%

Well thanks everyone for your answers! I as well must keep it marked i don't like errors at all! I love the ring and i tend to forget pills! never had the pill but i really like this ring! it's low dose so i don't flip out as much.. And most the time the load isn't going in me durning my week free cuz i'm a worry wort! but it happend last night and well frankly that scared me! so Thanks again for your help!

i like this two or so of the answers say they got pregnant on nuva ring hmmm maybe its not that great to have the freedom ring after all sounds more like a conception ring but according to the word of the maker during use take it out for no more than 3 hours at a time and during the week you dont have it in is when you have a period so suposedly its just like the pill but i dont have to worry i take my pill and dont have sex when im on my period and if i have an inactive day of pill and not period then if i have sex i dont get the load inside so take more precaution and if the i got pregnant on the ring statements dont startle you maybe you should switch to something else

I am also on the ring and as others have said - yes you are protected the week you are off it. I personally LOVE the ring. It's way easier then remembering to take a pill everyday. But even though it's only a once a month insertion - there is still a window for error. I find that unless I have it marked on my calendar I totally forget I have it in, or need to put it in after the week is up. People forget simply because you can't feel it!

You are protected during the week free. Just make sure that during the other 3 weeks that ring doesn't come out for more than 3 hours because then you aren't protected.

Yes. It's the same protection as the pill, the week you are on the "fake" pills your still completely protected Nuvaring is the same the week without the ring you're still protected, that's the week you should get your menstrual.

you supposeofally arent fertile that week that is the week of your period but i dont know bc i am 12 weeks preg and guess what i was on.... Nuva ring....
