I mean it's all right there in the New Testament.
Every year on Jesus birthday, the Virgin Mary would bake a Ham Dinner for Jesus while the Apostles made snow angels and went on sled rides pulled by reindeer. Mary Magdalene was always standing under the mistletoe, while Joseph wrapped presents in tinfoil and addressed greeting cards.
Well, ok....that's just nonsense.
It was in the middle of the damn desert in August or September and none of these people had ever heard of reindeer, snow, evergreen trees, mistletoe, eggnog, polar bears, penguins, sleighs, snowmen, the postal service, Santa, the North Pole, Elves, cranberries, pumpkin pie, yule logs, exchanging wrapped presents or greeting cards and they sure as hell weren't eating ham dinners (lol) or turkey dinners in Judea, with corn and stuffing on December 25th, the traditional birthday of all Mediterranean Sun Gods.
But if you say so..................

yeah, whatever, we've all heard it before
The people of today use the holiday to honour Jesus, and that's what matters
Ironically, most people who crusade against Christmas are Jehovah's Witnesses. They want you to examine the past of everything EXCEPT their religion, which is nothing but a history of lies.
Interesting indeed.

Christmas is not christian. It was a pagan celebration adopted by Christians. It is the devil's way of making Jesus look small and weak. It is a time when the whole world focuses on Christianity and how do they get shown our great and mighty God? As a weak, helpless baby! who would believe in a baby God?
I mean, cummon, if people used their heads, they will be able to see.....First of all, Jesus was not born in December, many historians have determined that He was most likely born somewhere in June or July.
Second, decorated pine trees? Erm, where did u find most pine trees in that time? Towards Europe, where many pagan religions were in that time. Certainly not in the middle east!
Then there is the snow.... again, Europe, not the middle east.
Giving prezzies? God doesn't care about physical things, he cases about love and honour and righteousness, not giving each other gifts to symbolise stuff. What about poor Christians, do u think God would tell them to give each other gifts and cause such discomfort and paint for the people when they dont have money to buy gifts and their children dont understand?mmm, just doesnt seem like a thing my God would do.
Jesus' birth is NOT important, what is important is that HE DIED FOR OUR SINS ON THE CROSS. We should rather be celebrating this, cos when he was born, doesn't really make a diff. He died so that we could go to heaven and if you ask me, that is what is important.
Then there is the fact, and this is probably THE most important and obvious reason why I believe that Christmas is not supposed to be, that Christians is not mentioned anywhere in the Bible, and God told us everything in the Bible we need to do and know. Who do we humans think we are, making up some kind of celebration on behalf of God?
Next, Santa Clause....made up right? When the day comes that our children find out that Santa is fake, they think "but is Jesus fake then as well?" How can we mislead or children so?
Christmas undermines God strength and glory and is an insult to God. It derives form a pagan celebration where they celebrated the birth of one of their Gods, why did we adopt it, we are not supposed to follow some other religions tradition? It is what God tells us not do do!! Pass over, or Easter is the only celebration God told us to celebrate and it is the only one we should.
Christmas is not a spiritual celebration, it has become a mocking, a way of making money and a time of death, when people get drunk, depressed and when so many bad things happen. Has anyone ever seen someone getting drunk, using Easter as an excuse, i think not. Why would the two main Christian celebrations differ so much? It is because the one is God's the other is not. Because the one has a spiritual purpose ant the other is just an idiotic attempt in making Gods name a laff.

It is really sad and depressing to see how many people think they become smart because they reject 'religion' or 'ancient beliefs' but are imbecilic.
You do not understand much of anything, forget Christianity, you are a person I think with a desire to attack Christmas but in your impetuous frenzy you do not notice you are tripping all over yourself and running over a cliff. In other words you do not see your unbeleivably great shortcomings of intellect, you think criticism itself is intelligence. You totally fail.
Do you not know every culture will have a different expression of the same theme? Clebrating Christmas doens't entail sleigh rides, but it is not against true Christianity or Christmas , that is just a geographical experience of certain people that comes to be associated with the season which is in turn associated with the specific holiday. But I feel embarassed even having to say this to you, it is like the emperor with no clothes walking down the street naked, thinkng he is clothed in powerful arguments, and I have to be the one to tell him he is stark naked and it i snot pretty, that would be you.

Whatever dude. I am not a Palestinian Jew from two millenia ago. So what if I celebrate the same thing according to my own time, place and culture? If it bothers you don't celebrate with us. That was two months ago. Have been thinking about it for that long? I hope not. Don't worry about me ,just be the best you that you can be. Peace be with you.

Christmas was created by the catholic church.
Jesus was born in the spring.
killing and eating a pig in honor of the birth of a Jew seems so very wrong.
penguins don't live in the north pole.
open your eyes, Christmas is capitalism at it's best, what's that got to do with religion?

Christmas isn't inspired by the bible and Jesus' birthday is in September, not December. But people chose that day to honor him.
