I'm a 19 year old college student. A girl who is a friend of my roommate told me that her roommate would be gone for awhile and asked if I wanted to come and spend the night in her roommate's bed. I don't understand the motive behind this. I mean, her motive would be clear if she asked me to sleep in her bed, but that's not the case. What does she want from me?

she wants you to make the first move, it is more meaningful that way to her, i mean really all girls want the guys to take the first step, and she was just giving you a REALLY BIG hint! GO FOR HER AND TELL ME HOW IT GOES!!

You'll go over there, intend on sleeping in her roommates bed, and wind up sleeping in hers.

I believe that's her way of saying she'd like to without coming out and saying it.

Either that or she doesn't like to be alone...if that's the case, don't try anything or you'll just freak her out

Protection?

Just ask her; she could just feel lonely w/ the roommate being gone.
