Well there is e-mail addiction so the internet would be just as bad. So yes I think there is such a thing.

Edit: Just looked at the link. I think that is going a little to far. I think if you are older and dont work or do anything else then you have a problem (still the things in the link should not happen) but the kid is 12 so I dont see anything wrong with it.

Addiction can be more than physical and sometimes the endorphin boost we get from feeling like we're accepted or loved (on-line or in person) is taking place in the brain but still chemical...I think one can become addicted to anything, particularly if they feel the loss of that thing is detrimental to their well-being.

there is this style of factor. basically as there's a cellular telephone dependancy. I heard of gadget dependancy,,this is the place human beings cant stay without their gadgets including cellular telephones, laptops, mp3 gamers etc. For each little thing mankind invents there is an dependancy for it.

Of course there is. There is so much on the internet, for example porn, that gets people hooked. It's not a good thing.

yes, people joke about it, but I'm sure it exists. there is a course to stop checking email so often.
