1. 97 blazer 125k $3,800
2. 01 Aztek 100k $2,500
The blazer has scratches/dent/rattle in the muffler and the aztek is a friend of mines car who has taken very good care of the car I'm not worried about the look of the aztek..I know they are ugly...I don't think so personally but hey! Also does anyone know the "life" expectancy of these vehicles?

I would go with the Aztek because:
- you dont mind the look
- you know the person who had it
- less expensive
- lower mileage AND more recent (higher life expectancy)

good luck with it!

The Aztek would be your better deal The Blazer is going to need ball joints and more I'll guarantee you. We don't see too many Aztecs come in for much more than brake replacements.

The blazer would be cheaper to get parts for if you eventually had to be putting some work into it, but for the price difference and difference in Mileage I would go with the Aztec.

They have great interior space as well, and they're very versatile! Especially considering your friend owned it too, That's great! Not to mention the Blazer already needs work done to it.

You could probably get 200,000+ miles on the Aztec before it needs any repairs done.

Go with the Aztec!

Pick #2. The life expectancy depends a great deal on how well the vehicle was cared for. Some cars are shot at 125K, others are about half way there.

Damn, just $2.500 this car? I wish I was in USA!!! :-(

I´d choose the Aztek, for sure. You know who was the previous owner, it´s newer than the Blazer and it´s cheaper.

your best bet would be to find someone that knows about cars and have them look at both i bought a van from a friend (it belonged to her mother ) was told always taken good care of it was a nice van and still is but always take care of ? had to get a transmission in it after i bought it anyone will tell u anything to get rid of something they always say never buy off a friend i am not tell you want is the best one to buy just have someone check them both over first good luck
