Its a myth that stem cells can only come from embryos...

Stem cells can be taken from umbilical cords, the placenta, amniotic fluid, adult tissues and organs such as bone marrow, fat from liposuction, regions of the nose, and even from cadavers up to 20 hours after death....

EMBRYOnic Stem cells come from a few day old EMBRYO the embryo is destroyed in the process before it became a fetus. No other stem cells are called "embryonic".

Absolutely NOT! Cord blood is a great place to get stem cells. Those are harvested AFTER the birth of the baby.

Yes, but so does the trash can. Would you prefer people to donate their organs and/or bodies to scientific research? If yes, then why not embryos left over from fertility clinics to federal research? The only other place they will go is to the trash can.

Either way the embryo will die. Research or not.
