Jesus isn't God, it wasn't even a consideration of the early church until about 1000 AD. Then the early church fathers had a big fight, and essentially killed off all the Christians who believed Jesus was a mortal man. It was wrong them, it is wrong now, and really what difference does it make? Descended from God, or actually God, a child of God or a part of God like we all are...

Yes, Jesus is God and the Son of God (and the holy spirit, which is another question). What happened is God decided that all of mankind is sinning and there was such a huge sin "debt" that there was no way people could pay this off and go to heaven, so everyone was going to hell. Therefore God decided that the only way to save even some people was to send a version of himself--his son (who was around since at least Genesis in heaven) to live and die as a man to repay this huge fine or debt (or however you want to look at it) with a perfect mega sacrifice (himself/son). Also, for some reason, while he was on this planet as the son, he talked to himself through prayer asking himself if he really had to go through this. The answer to himself was yes, so he died, but as he was dying he asked himself why he was forsaking himself.

how can Jesus be God and the son of God. Jesus is the son of the Most Holy Father Jehovah. yes he said you seen me you seen the Father, he was saying that he was with Jehovah from the beginning and he knows his Father real well. Jesus is seating at the right hand of Jehovah God. Jesus prayed to his Father in the heaven. when Jesus was baptized Jehovah came down like a dove and said this is my son the beloved. the Holy Spirit is Jehovah's active force. there is Jehovah the Father, Jesus Christ the son and Jehovah's active force. they are not the same

Isaiah 9:6 is a prophesy about Jesus. It says , "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given,: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God The everlasting Father, The Prince Of Peace." There we are told that the Messiah would be born as a son, yet is the Mighty God and will be forever. It is true that He has many titles(Father, Son, Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit, Emmanuel, Jehovah, Yahweh, I Am, Savior, etc) but has only one name....JESUS!

Ok...here is how it is from the Bible. Jesus is not God. God is God. However, God sent a form of Himself to Earth as a Human named Jesus. God cannot look upon sin and to truly know how we feel on Earth, he had to come in a human form. Hence the Holy Trinity. God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

I don't understand this either, I'm not attempting to attack any religion, but if somone could explain why some people consider Jesus to be God and others consider Jesus to be the son of god?
Is this just a division of what different religions believe? I don't know.

For someone to not believe He is God ( as Bible is clear on this, John 1:1 to be exact, also see John 10 and Revelation 1:7)
For someone to NOT believe He is God, would mean they are believing in a false jesus.
Only God can defeat death- there are not two gods- only ONE God and that is our Savior, our Lord and He is Christ and God!
God became flesh--John 1:1 and he is the beginning and the end- which is what Jesus is and only God is the beginning and end.
John 10 says "I and the Father are one"
He also says "If you have seen Me you have seen the Father" in the same chapter.
If Jesus was not God, that would mean there would be many gods since he is god's son, only from god, and there was no sin in Jesus, there is sin in EVERY Single person, except God- and Jesus had no sin. Only God has no sin. It truly makes sense once the Holy Spirit reveals the truth to you through His word---God is the Holy Spirit too, He is 3 in one. We who are saved have His holy Spirit living in us. Do not compare God to man, or you will just continue to doubt His word.

That's what Jesus told us.
"All things have been handed over to me by my Father; and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him." (Jesus quoted by Luke 10:22)
