Touched by an Angel? I saw an episode yesterday that originally aired in May before 9/11. It had a new angel?

and the other angels, pointed out Andrew as the Angel of Death and she asked if there were lots of angels of death, as many of them entered a building just before a bomb went off. I'm curious who thinks that God gave the writers inspiration to write this episode to prepare people for 9/11? Why or why not?

This question isn't saying God didn't stop 9/11 but was it helping us to prepare for it?

The episode may have aired before 9/11/2001, but it was made after the Oklahoma City bombings, and the first NYC bombings. I remember that episode of TBA very well, just as I remember how horrified I (and most of the country) was at the bombings themselves.

CBS would sometimes do little "cast/writer/producer" interviews for big episodes like that one.

Did God touch those writers and creaters....absolutely.
Do I think it was a warning for a "specific" forthcoming event (like 9/11)? .....no.

Yes, god took the time to write an episode of touched by an angel instead of stopping 9/11. Of corse. This makes perfect sense.

I saw that one as well. I dont know if God gave them inspiration, the way i know God, he might have. But I dont think a TV pro gramme would be able to prepare ppl for something so big. TV pro grammes are very impersonal and it might just have been a coincidence. I think that it does ppl more good watching it after 9/11 because it reassures ppl that their loved once are in a better place and well looked after and that the ones who survived were protected by angels.

I watched it a lot, it became like the only that Michael Landon became in "highway to heaven" i think of became the call of it. i could be in tears watching it now and back this is so unhappy to pay attention of his passing :( BA ~ I cant keep in mind any off hand , sorry teresa ((hugs)) x
