i met this girl in a pub who claimed to be a councellor and as we got talking i said i never had a girlfreind she asked why so i jokingly said that i like to be tied up and mildly beaten and cant find a girl to do it but her eyes lit up and i barely escaped with my life but something stirred in me and now im wondering what it would be like. should i find out if she is wild and rampant as i think or do you think i should just forget it she looks a wild one and is five years older than me

If you want to pursue a relationship with this girl then you need to take it slow, you comment could have scared her in a certain way and that is why you got the reaction you got. Age does not matter as long as it is not too young or too old. being friend with her if she agrees will help you know more about her if she agrees to go on another date with you again, but you won't know until you ask her. If she rejects you then you know it was not meant to be and that there are other women out there. If she agrees then take it slow and go from there.

If you find her attractive go for it! She's a councellor, so if she's too rough on you she can offer her services for about half price-- negotiate ahead of time.
Seriously, if she's attractive to you and you were serious in what you told her you should. You will probably regret it if you don't go for it in this case.
