My fiance and I are trying to go on a honeymoon but I am confused about the laws. I am a US Citizen but my fiance is permanent resident. He has an alien card but no passport. Is it possible to travel outside of the United States without it?? Please help I am so confused.

Difficult. Contact the INS and ask for information...I have a friend in Florida and she's married with an Italian guy and they both really had troubles, because he was not allowed to leave the US when his mother died back home in Italy....Again, contact the INS! That's the best answer I can give you, before I tell something wrong or whatever.

Greetings from Germany

Depending on where you want to go and how your planning on traveling I would double check with a visa service they should be able to assist you. I use Perry Visa all the time and they're very helpful, they have a link on line www.perryvisa.com and they list there phone number so if you have questions you can call them direct. They're based in Chicago. Hope that helps
