Depends on the type of hinges, but normally, prise out the cover plate and adjust the screw furthest from the front until the gap closes up, tighten the central screw and replace the cover plate.

The hinges on most cupboard doors are adjustable to address the gap issue. Loosen (you need not remove) the screws, and slide the hinge as necessary to close the gap. You usually have about 1/4 inch on each side of adjustment room. You just need a screw driver and a few minutes.

most cupboards etc have concealed hinges i:e like on kitchen units? if these are on your cupboard there are some little adjustable screws on the hinge? if you turn the bottom hinge screw clockwise on the left door as you re looking at it you should notice the bottom of the door move out? now repeat this on the top hinge of the same door and the same should happen, now repeat this on the other door till the gap closes to the desired width??remember clockwise fetches em out anti-clockwise retracts them?

If there are spring loaded hinges, then the adjustment screws are there to help you.
