What happened to the "Rubbin's racin!" Thought about it?
I mean I understand a few saftey rules but it seams to me that the races are getting to where you spend half your time hearing about the penalties and watching the cars drive around the track under a yellow flag. What happened tot he good ol days where characters like Earnhardt just shoved you outa the way if he wanted by?

I absolutly agree with King.Chase's comment however I wonder if NASCAR will just end up entirely changing and while some accept it others will go out and create a new and rougher racing league. Its like the don't touch the quarterback rulse in the NFL!

Times are changing! Racing isn't what it was back in the 80's/90's.. I agree, I loved it more when RUBBIN WAS RACIN! But Hey, Sometimes you gotta realize that your cheese has been moved! And if you dont get that, It's a book called "Who Moved My Cheese?".. Check it out.. It makes you realize that instead of bltching about what's happening..Sometimes you just have to embrace it.. Change Happens, you cant stop it, or change it back.. Change HAPPENS.. Accept it and move on!

The rules have to be observed and penalized for cheating or breaking the rules its just all about safety and making sure everyone has equal cars to win the race the fairest.

The good old "Trading Paint Days". I miss them too. It is a corporate sport now. But do good manners really mean good racing. I think not.

I think that they need to re-evaluate their penalties. Like for example- if you are in pit road when a caution comes out, it is stupid to be penalized, unless they can prove that you went there, knowing the caution was coming out.

But they need to penalize drivers who intentionally wreck or bump other drivers, it is dangerous and many times affect other drivers. I hate bump drafting, it really should be illegal.
