I love drugs. I love how the body metabolizes them. I love everything about drugs and want to work with them everyday. What kind of courses will I need to get into medical school?

I'm doing my prerequisites right now for pharmacy school. I'm planning on going to U of A (University of Arizona). It is one of the most well known colleges for a pharmacy program.

Check out these links for more information on the classes and requirements you need to take to become a PharmD (doctor of pharmacy). It's also a REALLY good idea you talk to a school guidance counselor. This stuff can get pretty confusing! Good luck! It's tough!

Math and chemistry.

for med school:
2 bio, 2 chem, 2 physics, 2 calc, 2 ochem, Anatomy and Physiology and some volunteer work with a hospital for med school. For pharma, I'd add biochemistry and pchem, and, of course, check with the pharm schools you think you'd like to go to.

BTW, a bio or chem major already takes most of the courses above.
