Most likely it is Austin but there are other towns in this area code. Austin is the only major city. On this website you can look up the exact number.

hi, i just had a person answer a craigslisting that i had up and they used this #, did the same thing happen to you? My guess is it's a scam, you know one of those "i'll send you a money order or cashiers check for $4000 more than what your asking for" let me know if you would be so kind, my email is troy50glx@aol.com
