Hi, my home is in need of curtains for the family room.

My house is open, we have a living/diningroom painted yellow, hardwood floors, and very nice dark beige curtains. Nice neutral colors, the familyroom and kitchen are one open space as well so I'm painting the back rooms sage and again my tones are neutral (furniture) so what color should I buy my blinds or curtains? I have 3 separate windows not too big not too small. The sun is out there so please help. Thanks in advance for your opinion.

I would go with a nice walnut or chocolate color...wooden blinds sound cool...you're staying neutral that way...

i would get beige blinds, and instead of curtains get pretty different valances with dashes of green and maybe a hint of yellow, there are many different valances and many ways you can hang them, they are just prettier than curtains, happy decorating
