If you like this other guy, do you even want to stay w/ your NY bf? You need to figure this out before you hurt your bf more. If you come to the conclusion that you want to stay w/ your current bf, talk to him. Tell him that you were engaging in what you thought was harmless flirting, that you sincerely apologize for your actions, and that it won't happen again (and don't do this again if you really want to keep your bf since now you know it obviously upsets him very much).... He might still be angry even after you apologize, and if so, do something to show that you still love him (such as taking a weekend trip to NY).
If you conclude that you want to take things up w/ the myspace guy, then you should still apologize to your bf and then break up w/ him.

If you are feeling the other dude leave your man your with . You owe it to him to be honest and let him find someone else who will love him . Go out and get a I'm sorry card and tell him you were weak and wanted attention from someone and you fell in a trap and you are deeply sorry .
