It can be. But not always. I think you're talking about a complex situation with many variables in it. Using sarcasm usually will not make you popular but sometimes it's hard not to justify it. I don't think that in the real world, we can always take a total positive thinking approach to things that self-help authors like Dale Carnegie, Norman Vincent Peale and Anthony "Tony " Robbins recommend we do, no matter how good or noble their intentions may be.

It's quite the opposite, isn't it? That being said, if you're ALWAYS sarcastic, it can become a bit annoying. Basically, when you're beng sarcastic, you're sort of criticising the person's ideas without being overtly aggressive. So, no, it's not the language of losers.

its the complete opposite of that! you need skill to pull of sarcasm. "the best kind of sarcasm is the one that goes unnoticed"
