You need to go to a really good salon. Dont try to do anything else yourself. If you keep putting more chemicals on your hair, you could cause some serious damage. Go to a professional, they will be able to help get your hair back to narmal, with out frying your hair!

Buy a medium chestnut brown...to cancel the red, make sure you don't get anything with "Golden" on the lable.
An dark "ASH" brown would also work. When did you do the highlights and the the color red? I would suggest you wait a day or two before you dye your hair brown just because you don't want it to get all brittle and damaged. Just wear a scarf or a hat...or tie it up in a bun (trust me...this has happened to me many times...I know the feeling of just wanting to get it over with) but don't risk damaging your hair...it can literally fall out or leave you with a ton of split ends.
Put some conditioner on your hair before you go to bed, tie a scarf around it (or a plastic bag) and in the morning after you wash it (let it dry naturally rather than blow drying it), you can dye it again.
Just an FYI...when you dye your hair brown, make sure it's a deep shade (at least a medium shade) so that when the color starts fading in a week or so, the red won't show through it.
Good luck!

So enable her whilst she is sufficiently previous and that i garentee she's doing it to look cooler at school than all the different females at school that's what i needed it and for a similar reason and that's additionally a similar suitable reason a lot of different females at school did it whilst i replaced into 7

hi im an hairdresser, infact im a colour technichian, although you could use a dye from the shops its wiser to go to the hairdressers because we know what we are putting on your hair, you need a flat brown puttin on , with it being quite reddish now using a flat brown will turn it a nice warm chocolate colour, hope this helps!!!

LOL This brings back memories......Once I tried a store bought kit to highlight my hair. Well it said it you want really blond highlights to leave on for 45min to 1 hour. Well I did...for one hour.....I looked like I had gray hair......the white with the dark brown made me look like I had Freak'n gray hair!!! So I put on a light brown.....well that turned the white PINK!!!!! I ended up at a beauty salon and they fixed it. Ended up costing me like $ 60.00 more than if I had originally went to the beauty shop to begin with. I FEEL FOR YOU!! Bite the bullet, call a salon. GOOD LUCK

Did a similar thing myself. Found going to the hairdressers the only solution. Don't keep throwing good money after bad.

I recomend a salon, get your hair stripped and died back to it's natural color, then leave it alone and let it grow out for a while. Get some nice shampoo and conditioners for damaged hair.
