I have heard rumors, but want to be sure. They always give it to me when I go to the dentist, and I don't think it has affected me.

NO.

Nitrous oxide carts and set ups are required to have a fail safe system that keeps the gas flowing into your lungs with minimum 30% oxygen well within limits to keep your brain cells alive.

You have billions upon billions of brain cells and the few that the nitrous MIGHT kill is less than the amount you are killing by just being alive. The smoke that the factories are putting out kills more than the nitrous and you only get the gas once in a great while.

It hasn't effected you in the slightest but some people might have you think it does. Just don't listen to them.

Yes it does, but the dose you get in the dental office is would not cause immediate damage....unless you take it on a daily basis. However,You have the option not to go under the procedure if you dont want to. On the other hand, you were probably given because you need it during your treatment.Tell your dentist that you'd rather not have nitrous oxide if you don't want to.

If you enjoy being able to use your brain , then do not abuse Nitrous Oxide. If you enjoy remembering your name even when you are not under the effects of Nitrous , then do not use it as a drug.

In large quantities it can be harmful, but not at the doses given at the dentists office.

No way! They always give to me as well. To be honest, it really does make you laugh and forget about how much money you are about to spend.
