Just so that you know -SIberian Huskies are elopers! That means that by nature they away - a lot! Of all the shortcomings to be found in Siberians, the most dangerous to the pet owner is their tremendous desire to RUN. But the very first dash that a puppy makes across the road could be his last run, anywhere. Chances are that unless you get him properly trained, as soon as you take him off leash - he will take off.

You already have 4 dogs and now you have another so what you need to create is a "pack" where you are the leader. Your puppy will learn from the others, so if they are out of control your pup will learn that behavoir from them, so first you need to be the leader and have all the dogs following the same rules. When you walk you pup or other dogs, keep the dog by your side. Keep the collar high up on the neck and dont give enough slack to where they walk you, this is the first step in establishing your leadership. Walk them everyday(one at a time) until they are all doing as told. Soon they will be use to this and you can drop the leash. Work with your dogs everyday. They only learn from repeating it over and over. The running off thing, you need to establish boundaries. Maybe there a tree line that can be used or a fence that he cant cross. This will take some time. Stay out side with our dog(start out one at a time, remember to use the same boundaries for each dog so when they are all together they have learned the same boundaries) and everytime he crosses the boundary call him back, do this everyday until he knows what his limitations are, this doesnt mean that he wont run off unsupervised but its a start

I actually have a dachshund and he or she is now a twelve months. i think of a few canines breeds are greater vendors to being greater advantageous at abode breaking, and a few are thoroughly obdurate (like my little female). I did repetition together with her. It took her approximately 3 months to finally get the theory of "ok I could desire to flow to the bathing room on the doggy pad", and now she by no skill has an accident. regardless of the certainty that some human beings say you may desire to no longer enable your canines to apply a doggy pad, and which you may desire to take them out on the grass. anyhow, What I did with my doggy is approximately each 25-30 min (the 1st day) i might positioned her on the pad, with constrained area for her to flow around it and wait a pair minutes and enable her flow. If she had an accident on the carpet, i might positioned her in the present day on the doggy pad. truthfully, it sucks abode breaking a doggy. yet i'm hoping I helped a sprint. Congrats on your new doggy nevertheless! sturdy luck! EDIT- the reason I recomend doggy pads is using the fact, I stay in an house the place i'm no longer able to get outdoors and enable her flow all the time, 2d while i flow to artwork and that i'm going away her interior the kitchen, she needs to flow to the bathing room someplace. truthfully, in view that she has been abode broken I even have yet to have her have any injuries or the different undesirable conduct come from her utilising the doggy pad.

You should probably enroll all your dogs in obediance classes and the puppy is puppy training. You are the once who controls what your dogs learn or not, adult dogs are not too old to learn basic skills. Stop buying dogs and take care of the one's you already have, then they will be good examples.

It would be best to take you puppy to obedience classes. I kow that petsmart offers classes and the humane society around my area does too. You will have to work hard with it outside of the classes too because it will want to follow the behavior of your other dogs.

Sure it's possible for her to be the dog you want, if you put the work into it. Attend a puppy class that uses positive reinforcement-based methods, practice, practice, practice, and use her skills throughout her life.

It's best to call the local pet shop and find out when and where the obedience classes are being held.
