My wife thinks my bicep, but I am in an aggressive weight lifting program, which I worry would distort the tattoo. I'd like the back of my left shoulder, but apparently, that tends to be a bit girly. Any opinions?

I would get it centered, but I am getting it because I am leaving my current club. I have a feeling I will want one from new club, so I'll have one on each shoulder. Thanks!

why not get it centered in your back? and shoulderblade tattoos are NOT girly. whatever. maybe if you had a fluffy bunny and flowers it would be girly. placement does not make a tattoo feminine or masculine. i had a boyfriend once who had a tattoo on each of his shoulderblades and they looked great. PLUS it's not as painful as the spine.

I would have to agree with the wife. Bicep is a good place. Unless your bicep is going to change size signifigantly I wouldn't worry terribly about it. as you get old the tattoo's going to fade and change as your skin does anyway so you might as well get it somewhere cool.

Due to your pride in your rugby club, get the tattoo where it will show! The back of your hand is a really good place.
