Anyone have any great technology/nature themed tattoo ideas?

I don't know what your style is, or what you're thinking of exactly... if you wanted to combine technology and nature, maybe you could do something with a tree of life and a circuit board. I included a picture of the tree of life below (a traditional Celtic nature design) along with some circuit board pictures. Maybe if you replaced the celtic knotwork with a circuit board pattern, or had the tree's body as a circuit board pattern, that would look pretty cool. The BME Zine website also has a lot of great ideas - check them out, and see if you find any inspiration in other tattoo artist's work.

you could look at some Geiger work, (guy who created alien) his work is really bio-mechanical in nature. or go to the tattoo place and say I want something tech/nature and see what the person comes up with. Any tattoo artist worth their weight in sand should be able to design a tattoo from scratch. My biggest concern would to get a tattoo artist who just sticks and traces pre-made stuff, but doesn't know anything about art.
You'll probably need to narrow down your idea to a specific type of technology - ie your tv remote, or an aspect of nature like a monkey.
Then he'll draw some crazy monkey with a remote and you'll be set.

I have one purple flower, one blue flower, one orange flower and one red flower. They're tiger lily's, with green leaves and black "tribal wrap-around designs. It is located above my wrist bone and it doesn't wrap all the way around my wrist. If you were to measure it in length and width, it's about 4 inches long and 1 1/2 to 2 inches wide. It goes half way around my wrist. I wish I had pictures to show you, and I did but I deleted them off my computer because I printed the pictures out. Damn! But anyways, it's a very very feminine tattoo as well, and I also get tons of compliments! It looks awesome when I wear color clothes because it matches, and it really stands out and appears to be a bracelet. When I want it covered, I put on a normal bracelet and it covers it just fine, but I never cover it anymore. I love it!

How about a tree that has it's roots change into machinery. So you have a greeny nature feel and then a high powered machine and metal look.

There are hundreds of ideas but they want you to buy their art. If you have a digital camera, you can take a picture of it and then down load it off the camera.
