At woolworths, I saw a 32'' HD ready LCD TV by Techwood for only £379! I'm not sure whether I should by it, because I wanna buy a 32" HD ready LCD tv for the Playstation 3 I ordered, but the woolworths website hasn't listed any realavent specs (ie: resolution). If you have bought this TV, can you tell me it's resolution, aswell as whether it is a good choice for watching HD movies/ HD Gaming.

Thanks.

IM LOOKING AT getting an lcd HD READY tv and have researched LOADS - ive seen the Techwood tv's in store - really and truely and depending on your budget its whether you are going to buy it as a long term thing or solely for gaming - my sis inlaw said a friend of hers recently brought one and was quite pleased with the tv, however you do get what you pay for - and at the end of the day IF you compare the techwood to a samsung (of which you can buy for another 200k) you definately see that the pixel quality with a techwood is less than that of a samsung - generally you want to be looking at a pixel quality of about 1366 x 768 pixels. and a contrast ratio of at least 5000-1 and no less than 2 SCART sockets - bit technical but these are what make the viewing clear and more defined -

Argos have a sale on at the moment and are knocking of 200k of lcd tv's have a look, you may be better off paying that little extra. have a look at reviews online in google and look through online store guides to tv's in your price bracket - good luck
good luck

i would suggest to you buying a ps3 if your looking for optimal graphics. i have both. I enjoy ps3 more because i play call of duty world at war. I am using a sony bravia 32 inch 1080p Tv with a boss 3-2-1 7.1 surround sound system. I am a gamer and that is my job. But if you have a 360, its graphics are good as well... Honestly, go for the Projector. Be different! that s**t would look Bad@$$ on a 92 inch screen. hope this helped =). ps3 + tv = great n 360 + projector= sexy

Techwood is made by hitachi, it's that good that they have given it a new new....NOT.

The amount of returns of this make stopped me from selling them, its was not worth the grief.

If you buy from shops that aren't into electricial goods with good informed advisors them aviod ie, tesco, asda, argos, woolworths.

Names to avoid, techwood, goodmans, wharfdale and any names that you haven't heard before.

at the end of the day, you get what you pay for, the specs on the techwood arn't great.

the toshiba 32wlt66 is £699 shop price, and is a great buy, and will last.

Hope this helps wg

It's a very, very cheap television.

So the build quality will be poor, the picture quality will be lousy and the sound quality will be rotten. You always get what you pay for, I'm afraid.

Save up a few more pounds and treat yourself to something decent.

Have you heard of the make before? Usually a good rule of thumb to begin with
