I have heard of that but I don't know if it is necessarily true. What does work is a mixture of vinegar and powdered meat tenderizer that is turned into a paste. I have been wade fishing in the Gulf of Mexico for several years now and have been stung by jelly fish countless times and this is the best way to relief the pain.

Yes because your urine has certain chemicals in it which will break down the toxins in the jelly fish poison

yes, and you could use meat tenderizer also! also, a good friend of mine said that the lifeguard had Windex and sprayed that on his sons jelly fish sting...and, that helped!
a pharmacist told me about the meat tenderizer when my daughter got stung a couple of years ago.

Urine is actually beneficial after a jellyfish sting. There are other, better, options, but when you have no options available, you might as well use what nature provides you with.

rubdown the scar and later you should use Vit E and Mederma. Jelly fish often do no longer draw close around long so it would be long previous! in case you do those issues you will desire to be left without lasting scar!!
