Here are some intense but short workouts for :
2-Minute Abs:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmwblg4sy...
8-Minute Abs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swjtnbmch...
15-Minute Abs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edufqkwsv...

The longer you do these for the better the results will be. But results are immediate and just keep getting better. The 8-Minute Abs works for me, but it differs from person to person. These excercises target the obliques as well as other areas of the stomach.

There are special crunches that you can do that target that area.

Lay on your back, lift your legs straight up to the celing and reach like you are touching your toes.

Lay on your back, lift legs straight about an inch from the floor and just bring them up and back down to that inch from the floor.

Do 20 reps for 3 sets once a day and remember to keep your tummy pushed in while you breath in and out.

As my trainer always says, the best abs start in the kitchen. So always maintain and well balanced diet.

Good luck!

Do some side oblique sit ups. Frog kicks also work.
