Well those treats are sure to cause diarrhea in a dog of any age. They are low quality and cheap. Don't let your pup steal food, it's an insult to the older dog and your dogs will eventually start fighting. Make the puppy watch Mimi eat her treat and don't let Mimi give it up. Stick to small soft treats of better quality like training bits, your pup is too young to be eating anything bone or rawhide.

Look at the pet store for puppy treats or don't give her any treats yet. Training treats are also good because they are smaller, I gave my chihuahua training treats when he was a puppy because it was the only thing really small enough for him to eat. Don't let her steal the other dog's treats either, she will just get in the habit of doing it.

There are nothing wrong with those treats as long as neither dog is eating them constantly. Too many treats aren't good for any dogs. That said, there are treats at the pet store specifically formulated for puppies - they are smaller and contain different nutrients to be easier on little tummies. That said, if she still has trouble with them, no treats may be the best way to go.

treats should be used only sparingly, usually as a reward for training. I use small pieces of dried liver. Cook the liver first then chop it into small pieces. Put it in the bottom of a low oven until hard and crunchy. Your pup will love you but warning too much liver can cause a dickie tum so sparingly.
