I live in the west end of downtown Hamilton. I'm looking for a non-traditional church (freely talk about "almost anything", pray, worship, sing, dance, play games, maybe do crafty stuff and do lots of community work) that is great for young adults, but we'd still like it when we're older and married with kids. Not saying you could go and drink, smoke, have sex, and swear at such a place. But if people where prenent and not married or people wemt clubbing (Little things like that) they'd 100% not get looked down apone. I would like the people there to be good people who love being a christian and have lots of respeact for themselves and others. But I'm just sick of the overly dressing up just to go and stand around like a little angel and listen to a person talk for an hour. I reather have 5, 10, 20, whatever people sitting around talking and being free to eat and wear jeans or whatever. I'm a christian and love God and don't need a person shoving junk down my tought.

There are many Christian churches where you can wear jeans even to church. The clothes are not what makes a Christian. You can also sing and dance, etc.

One good place to search is in Super Pages found at http://www.superpages.com (Yahoo Answers Team this is not advertising, that is the online yellow pages in case you don't know it).

If you don't find one in your city, seek for churches in a nearby city. Often the Churches have their phone numbers in the name of their Pastors, because when a church member needs help, the Pastor's number is the same as the Church number. The responsible Pastors always try to be available when they are needed.

It is a shame how some Christians have responded to your question. I am not a Christian (not anymore), but I have friends who are, and we respect each other beliefs and help each other in times of need.

Go, my friend, check the link I gave you. And if you need further help, feel free to write to my email dgon1329@yahoo.com.

EDIT: Great link "bluefirewitch". My most profound respect to you.
