I am getting married in June 2008 so there is no immediate rush to get a wedding dress- I have however spotted one in Monsoon that is gorgeous! I will only buy it this year if it goes in the sale, but run the risk that they may not do the same design next year!!!
Does anyone know when they put wedding dresses in sales? at the moment I am visiting the store every week to check! (its the Miranda dress- size12).
I also need to check if its easy to adjust (in case I loose/out weight on!!)

Hey girl if i was you ild snap it up pretty quickly, it's quite rare for monsoon to put wedding dresses on sale and if they did, you would have to get in there really fast as im sure it would get snapped up really quickly!

if you would prefer to try and wait for the sale (which is a huge risk in my opinion!), they might have a mini spring sale around beginning march time (approx!) but i wouldnt wait- splurge girl! its your wedding dress you deserve to get what you want on your big day!

Congratulations to you! x

Monsoon Wedding Dress Sale

2016-12-18 06:55:34 · answer #2 · answered by ? 4 · 0 0

Not sure when the Monsoon wedding dress sale is on... if it does on in the sale, it may well have a few marks, or snags on it.... I really liked my dress, but there are loads to choose from. I got a friend to take picture of me in it in the changing room, if I don't find anything i like once it has discontinued, I can get a bridal company to make one similar... if i REALLY REALLY like it..

I also recently tried a wedding dress for my wedding next year from Monsoon but mines the Maria Tulle one, the size 8 squeezed my boobs, and size 10 was big around the waist... so I asked about alternations and they said that the company don't do it them-self, but I can get 10% if I go to an alternation company advised by them... you can buy the dress, if they can;t alter it to the way you want, just return it...! It was only a quick try on as they were recommended for beach weddings...

Keep searching and trying a few on, now and then.. I doubt the sale will be over until September time (typically wedding season April - Sept) when there summer sale is on..

Congratulation & Good luck searching!

Know Monsoon sales are just finished, unsure when they commenced but had been running since the beginning of the year. There was some bridal wear in the sale but quite honest you wouldn't have given it house room with all the handling and the way everything was crammed together (Monsoon seem to cram even more than most during their sales). If you are sure it is your dream then it will not be OTT pricewise at Monsoon so go for it now. However, as you say you do have plenty of time and certainly I would look around lots of bridal wear shops first. Often bridal shops are more like to have sale bridal gowns. Okay, some can be a bit shop soiled but most are absolutely perfect and the expertise of the assistants can tell you exactly what alterations are needed to a gown and the feasability of them being done. Afraid often in Monsoon I notice it is young students who work part time and weekend and naturally it would be unreasonable to expect them to know about adjustments, even the more experienced assistant are there to sell, unlike the assistants in bridal shops who are trained in such matters. Of course you could keeping looking on ebay!!!

seems like they have sales every season these daysl, so there shoul be one this spring. howeve+r if its a wedding dress, i would just buy it. it cant be over 200 pounds surely if its from monsoon. if you dont buy it it might not be available in the sale and it will be gone foreverrrrrr.

but if you insist on buying in the sale wait a couple of weeks, there will prob be a spring sale shortly

you can guarantee it won't be in the sale. They hide all the good stuff and drag out all the crap from years ago.
Your best bet is to try it on in the changing room and split the seam lol maybe ask for a big reduction as its damaged????
