Ive set up a wireless network and followed all the instructions on the manuel. My laptop can detect a wireless network is there and connect to it... but it still wont let me connect to the internet. The network bridge seems to indicate the network cape has been disconnected... which is not true. Wat am i doing wrong???

Thanx for the response guys, ive tried them all and it still dont work. I believe the problem lies with the Network Bridge as it requires two connections for it to bridge but i can only see the one titled: Wireless Network something... im guessing theres supposed to be a second one but there isnt. Not sure how this happened as it did orginally work but has only recently stopped working. Anymore ideas?????

There is a switch on your laptop to turn on your wireless connection(mine is on the front next to bluetooth),

I agree with the others about the switch, but you could also try another two things. One is to go to the taskbar at the bottom right, right click the network button (its a pic of one monitor with like blue flashg on its screen, its on the bottom right) anyway, right click it and then click 'repair'. Now try
If that didnt work then go onto iternet explorer and it should come up cannot display the webpage, if you are using IE explorer 7 then you can run a diagnostics, click this ad it should diagnose the problem.
Hope this helps (sos about th missed letters, keyboard is bad)

Sounds like the router is not connected to the cable modem.

Or perhaps your computer is defaulting to the "wired" network connection. Try going to control panel -> networks and set the wireless connection as the default connection. Then try your browser again.

Also check and make sure that you have the router connected to the cable modem.

in to control panel setup network wizard to new connection and brideg to another all of these setup need to have at least 3 connecting setup and 1 is a gateway that connect to the network
If you still have a problem you need to check at direct connection that might need a reset .. by turn off and turn on
If you have incert wireless socket you got to reinstall, remove early install and reinstall

Also make sure your internet provider has no problems. I set mine up had a similar problem and the ISP provider were down at that time.
