Odds that he can make it 2 in a row @ Cali this weekend?! Ganassi dodges were looking "Oh, So Sweet!" all week @ Daytona (not counting Sorenson).. He should have decent enough equipment this weekend, But can he manage to bring that Havoline #42 Dodge to a TOP-20 finish?!

He'll finish top 20 no problem. California's such a boring race and they get so spread out that all you need is a good handling fast car to finish in the top 20. The Ganassi Dodges were pretty stout last week.

Montoya has PLENTY of potential, it wont be too long before a top 20 run for him becomes a regular occaision.
This weekend, I will give him a top 20 finish IF he can avoid trouble, which isn't that hard since a huge chunk of the problems at California is getting those motors to survive 500 miles(Biffle and Stewart couldn't do it last year with their strong cars)

Montoya ain't that great, hate to break it to you. Only reason he finished so "well" in the last race was because half the field crashed including 90% of the favorites. This will be an adjustment season for Montoya, he doesn;t know any of the tracks, or his racecar, and he will consistently finish in the mid-20's to 30's. He is no Denny Hamlin.

The only reason Montoya finished inside the top 30 was due to the crashes ahead of him all day. He will take 2-3 years of seasoning in real racing before he understands the sport, NASCAR that is. He will most likely go back to open wheel driving before that as his paycheck there as well as posh lifestyle will be better.

of course he will so long as he doesn't get collected by a crash, and considering how good he did with all the wreaks happening right in front of him i think he will do fine, after all he did do better than Dale (thank god my dads and legend) Jr

he only advanced due to the crashes. I don't think I will bank on other crashes advancing him. he is holding his own, but thats all.
