i was with this guy for about a year but then he broke up with me on my b-day last month and i know he loves me and he knows i love him but he doesn't want to show it because of his friends and now its like i want him to see the mistake he made and i want him to see that i love him more than anyone without him having to listen to everyone else. i want him back with me and here by my side , but i don't know how to do so can anyone help me?

if you think he's gone now try tying him up and bringing him back,then you will discover how gone gone can be!
I'd suggest you get on with life as though it is over. After all it may be. Leave it to him to make a move to come back after he sees you are dating and have a life without him. Chances are 50-50 and if he comes back on his own you've got a good thing going and if he doesn't you have avoided a bigger heart break down the line. Always let a guy chase YOU till you catch him.

He is immature and you are wasting your time if you'e trying to "show him" he made a mistake. He will have to let himself see that for himself and the harder you try to impress that on him, the less of a chance you have of him realizing it. Simplest way is to blow him off a lot. Don't outright ignore him, say hi, how are you, but leave it at that. If it's going to work, he's got to come halfway and it sounds like your relationship is at the point where it's time to find out if he's willing to do that or not. Good luck.

Do you really want a man in your life who is so swayed by the opinion of others that he will dump you on their say so? You could be setting yourself up for even more hurt. He is not likely to cut his friends completely from his life. What happens next time he listens to them when you have invested more of yourself emotionally in the relationship?

I think that you should give him a little space, let him see that you can do without him. If he comes back to you then its meant to be and if he doesn't then hes probably not interested any more. Guys can be really complicated you just have to figure them out.

o.k. from what i understand about "love" you will show it regardless of circumstances. if he really does love you then his friends opinion won't matter. I don't know much about love, But i do know that when you love someone you will do anything for them with or without reason. Almost like manipulation.

I just want to know how it is that you know he loves you? Is it by the way he treats you, the things he says or communicates to you, or is it by the way he has left you broken hearted?

tell him how u feel and make him believe that you still love him and if he doesnt respond properly then u know he didnt love you in the first place
