I want a FREE dog or not one over $50.00/ Those shelters are $175.00 for a grown small dog . I don't mind paying for its boarding and food but the majority of them are already neutered ans spayed when thay get them. Its going to cost me $400.00 for Apartment deposit. Now do you understand?

petfinder.com makes it real easy to find dogs in shelters, I would suggest looking there and inputting your city. Good luck and have fun with your new dog.

Petfinder.com

You can search by age and size and the area you live in then look in the descriptions to find out if the dog is housetrained or not. If they don't have all the info you want about a dog you find then you can always contact them about it.

Don't buy dogs online, you will regret it and probably get a sick dog or one that will give you lots of health problems in the future. People who care about their puppies do NOT sell them online or in pet stores. Petfinder.com is a great resource linking you to local shelters and rescue agencies by zip code. Good luck. Mature dogs are easy to come by in shelters and are often overlooked, but usually make the best dogs ever!

Try Visiting local vetrinarians and pounds. You will find a variety at these plaaces. Just cause there in a pond doesnt mean that there horrible dogs. Most dogs just wander away from home and cant find there way back.
