My guess is that pedophiles, at least those who join the Clergy, seek mandatory celibacy in an attempt to force their urges into submission.

Atheists don't deny themselves in life, so they're more well adjusted emotionally. Just for the record, I have a female friend who is an Atheist and a Biological Chemist. She has the face of an angel and a body worth killing for.

How do you know that there are not scandals amongst the NAS do you know each members personal life? there are many such scandals in society but it seems that only the clergy make the news!

Because atheists don't care as much if someone is sleeping around. They don't assume that they're going to hell for it. Possibly a divorce, if they're married, but that'd be about it.

Clergy try denying themselves sex, and it backfires.

Science majors can't get sex, but at least they are open to trying.

Probably because it's not as juicy a story.

"Scientist molest boys" probably doesn't sell as many papers as "Priest/Rabbi/Holy person molests boys."
