My dog keeps peeing on my carpet and I saw this question and the answer for this question was to use Nature's Miracle. Can someone please tell me how this will keep my dog from peeing in my carpet?

Nature's Miracle works with enzymes that break down the urine into inert components. With no smell to attract her, Fido won't be so inclined to re-mark her territory.
Why is she peeing on your carpet in the first place? Sometimes separation anxiety will cause her to "act out" like that. OR, you may not be sensitive to her need to "go" or maybe you don't have time to walk her. If that's the case - well, either make time to walk her thoroughly at least 2 x daily (if she's an adult - more if she's a pup) and keep her confined to a room with a more easily cleaned floor - laundry, kitchen or bath.
If Fido is a toy breed, you can train her to use a litterbox - no, she won't cover her waste, but at least it will be confined and easier to clean up.

Because peeing for dogs can also be their way of marking territory, each time they pee in the same spot, they are renewing their claim on that territory/ letting others know they were there. Nature's miracle uses enzyme to help break down the sugars and other chemicals in the urine which produce the smell.

Reinforce potty training in your dogs, crate them when you can't be around to monitor behavior. Pee smells will only make them mark the spot over and over, I don't know what cleaner actually works but don't use one with ammonia, that's the ingrediant in pee that leaves the attracting smell.

It's not cheap and most of the time does not work unless you use several applications.
