me and my wife our planing to take a trip from millwakee wi to boston ma on midwest airlines but are afraid of them being sold to air tran we love midwest and wondn't travel if they sell out

If Midwest can help it, they will not be bought by AirTran. Midwest has said no and has asked the shareholders to stay away from Joe Leonard.

I really do believe that you will have no problem. Enjoy your flight on the "Best Care in the Air." I like Midwest too and have been on almost 50 flights with them.

"our going to be sold" does not make any sense in the English language. I assume you mean "are" and not "our" though. They are completely different words and mean completely different things.

If it does happen it wouldn't be for a while, but it's a possibility. If they do merge, then it's not even certain what will happen - they could still operate under the Midwest Airlines name.
