Serious question, I mean what does the Bible or any other authority say about this? Anticipating the second coming does imply that he died again as I see it...Without going into whether or not it's true, what's the story?

You are confusing the words resurrect and reanimate.

Reanimation is what occurred with many people in the bible such as the boy Elisha raised, the man who came to life when he touched the remains of Elisha, the girl who Jesus raised, etc. They were temporary healed but their bodies were still subject to death because they still underwent the aging process.

Resurrection yields a spiritual body which does not live on worldly things like bread and water but on the Word of God alone which Jesus received on the first Easter. It is clear from the Scripture that His appearance was changed and the holes in His body remained there yet He was living, much like the burning bush which was not consumed. His body shall not die for it is no longer a body of flesh and bone but a spiritual one.

The "second coming" does not imply a second death. The Biblical accounts are that Jesus rose up to Heaven and will come again from there to judge all. There is no second death anywhere mentioned. Logically speaking, it would be impossible for Jesus to die again, as once he has died, death would have no power over him.

A fully resurrected, glorified person like that can't die again. He became fully immortal at that point. The second coming doesn't imply that He died, and will be born again. It just means that He left (or went away for a while) and will be coming back.

He hasn't died again, and won't die again.

After the resurrection, he was taken up into Heaven by God.

The second coming will be when Jesus returns to take His followers to Heaven with Him.

No, it doesn't imply that He died again. It implies that He'll return from heaven in the same manner in which He ascended after His resurrection.

His second coming is talking about Jesus coming from Heaven to earth for a second time. He came to earth as a man, was killed as a man, was raised from death as a man, and ascended into heaven as a man. He will once again come to earth as a man.
