Does it say in the Bible that once you go to heaven you will only know God and no one else? I am pretty sure I remember reading that part. Does anyone know what I am talking about?

Maybe you are thinking of the passage where Jesus gives us a new name that no one knows, except you and him? Otherwise, I don't know of any other place. (Revelation 2:17)

Actually, the Book of Ezekiel, from Chapter 40 all the way to the end, is what you and I would be doing in the eternity. It says you can go and help those you know, family members who are in trouble of the second death - so, if you don't know them, how could you go to them and help them? of course you will know others, and you will remember who they are, and what they look like.
What the Bible does say is that you will know no other God, and you will worship no other God.

When Jesus returned to talk to friends and disciples after the resurrection, he was in what's know as his finer body. He was showing us what it's like in heaven where he just came from.

I always thought that when you die, and go to heaven. Yes you will know God, and you will also know the people up there. But you will not know anyone on Earth. :-]. Hope I helped!.

Hi Jackie, I have always believed that when we die and go to God we shall love, see and understand in a perfect way that we could never imagine while on Earth, and so we will know everyone that we knew on Earth in a fuller way and the love that we shared while here will be magnified beyond our imagination.

No it does not say that it in the bible. It actually says dust to dust and once we die our souls will be reunited with out heavnly father. Not that we will only know him. I believe heaven is what ever you make it. If you think its gonna be white clouds and gold and your family and friends there with God and angels then thats what it might be

We will know God, but we will know everyone else who is in Heaven.

I know of nothing on this order. On the contrary it says that when we see Jesus we will be like him. In other words we will have the mind of Christ and all the knowledge of the universe at our finger tips if you will.
I Cr 13;8a

Phl 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

1Jo 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Matthew 22:30 says nobody will be married and we will be like the angels. I don't know if we'll recognize anyone but Jesus or not.

No, it says you will be known as you were known. Each person will know everyone, but we will all be praising and worshiping GOD.
