Let me take your questions more or less in order.

1) Wiccans don't "convert" per se. What you might be looking for is a self-dedication ritual, if you want to formally commit yourself to the path. The other possibility is initiation into a coven, but from the sound of it that's not an option for you.

2) I can't prove to you that magic exists (there is no "white" or "black" magic, only the intent of the person doing the casting). The only thing that will convince you is experience and practice.

3) It's not a good idea to try spells until you have a pretty good grounding in the theory of witchcraft, and always mind the Rule of Three (whatever you do, for good or ill, will come back on you three times over). There are plenty of spell archives online if you need material, but the best spells are the ones you create for yourself -- though of course you'll probably want a bit more experience before starting to craft them yourself.

4) "Things you should own"... you mean ritual equipment? Let's see -- an athame and a chalice are the two most basic tools, in my opinion, since they represent the God and the Goddess. There are a lot of other things you can pick up, and you'll also need a lot of candles. ;-) If you want a diagram of an altar layout, email me and I'll see what I can do.

5) "Water in a bowl"... I have no idea what you mean by this. It could be just about anything.

6) This symbol -- )0( -- represents the waxing crescent moon, the full moon, and the waning crescent moon, and is a symbol of the Goddess.

First. In Wicca, (contrary to Christianism) we don't go out looking for "converts". Magick is very real (except for that Harry Potter type of Magic).

Second. If you are truly interested in Wicca and Magick, you can try contacting witches in your area that can help you understand in what we believe.

Third. Spells and "stuff like that" are not games to play with. You can learn about spells not only through Wicca but through many Pagan religions or you can also learn magick without the religious element involved in it.

Fourth. Now you must decide. If you are truly interested in learning about Wicca and Magick, or just Magick. You can learn Magic without having to become a Wiccan. Not all witches are Wiccans, and not all Wiccans practice magick. Wicca is a religion that embraces magick.

What you seem to want is a formal instructor. Try this link.

You've asked some deep questions, keep them coming because that's the fast track to understanding anything you seek. Conversion isn't really a long drawn out or complicated process, it's personal and can only be done by you when you're heart and mind are in agreement. This can take time though, and it isn't as simple as deciding to be wiccan. White Magick is really a concept, like good and evil, and you should focus on your spirituality before you get to the magick.

It is primarily Christians and atheists on here so if you really want to connect and ask questions to Wiccans, you'd be better off looking up some meeting areas or stores in your area and talking to someone there. It might be more effictive for you.

What you've got to understand about the principles of magic and spells is that the work you do is really on yourself. In order for spells to really work, you've got to focus on changing your own perspective, from within. You can find bookloads of spells, but they won't really work if they're using symbols and rituals that don't have personal meaning for you. Or if you expect them to change something outside of yourself.

The majority of witchcraft is about headology, as Terry Pratchett puts it. ;-)

If the symbol of water in a bowl doesn't mean anything to you, then it's pointless.

you should simply repent and accept Jesus into your life...it is well known that such things are wrong...my exwife got into that stuff and now she has lost everything including the respect of her family.
