Hate to break it to you Holy Holly, but your "scholars believe" quote means about jack-squat.
I've never seen any large number of geologists form a consensus on the Flood actually happening. In fact, such a massive global geological event would surely have left more evidence that some fossils in Mongolia. It'd be hard to avoid the evidence if The Flood was true.
Still, even if you were right, it only takes about 5 minutes to find a video on youtube of people being swept away in the tsunami that hit Indonesia and Thailand. You can tell me that that was quick and painless, but if you find a clip with audio, you can hear the screaming.

There was a movie called "The Bible" made i the 60's,I believe., which contained the story of Noah's Ark. If I recall correctly, it was a flop.

Isn't God merciful and wonderful.....I would like to see the dinosaurs drowning with the innocent children and babies, that should be interesting, like a God induced mass murder Jurassic Park.
And Noah getting Kangaroos and Pandas from God knows where??? ...Checking the sexes of each animal,
Noah must have been a damn zoologist--
How he found only the popular animals we hold in zoos and farms would be interesting to depict as well.

They're trying that with "Evan Almighty" and Steve Carrel as a moden day Noah. Based on audience reaction at a trailer I just saw, it has all the charm of a Paris Hilton biography.

Just because you envision a movie in which those events would be shown does not necessitate that such a film would require those images. The central theme of the story of the Flood is that God spared the race of men and the world for the righteousness of one, a prelude to Jesus' sacrifice.
Genesis simply states that all else died, it says nothing of the act nor does it mention any attempt of those who died trying to save themselves or drowning. Most scholars believe based on fossil evidence in Mongolia that much of the Flood was sudden like a tsunami and those that were killed died nearly instantaneously.
Genesis 7
21And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man: 22All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died. 23And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.

It could be disgusting. I mean the Passion of the Christ was pretty brutal and yet a ton of people watched it. The Bible isn't exactly a bed a roses. Nor is life.

Dead bodies sink after a while. After the flood would be a different story. There would be so many bacteria living on the decaying corpses that anybody who survived the flood would have died.
