I have heard that you have to get vitamin shots for the rest of your life. I knew a woman who had it once and she got really thin, but over the years she stretched her stomach out again and got obese again. And look at Randy Jackson, the judge on American Idol. He got it done and got really slim and now he is getting fat again. It is not a good option if there is any way to lose the weight on your own or with a group. 'Weight Watchers is a wonderful supportive group to help you get going.

Yeah, you're not going to find too many long-term studies on that (or anything else really) because they're very time-consuming and expensive to do, plus you tend to require very large numbers of people enrolled to be able to say anything useful because of the large number of confounding factors that can occur over time. So that data really doesn't exist.
