at highway speeds when accelerating truck seems to buck

Hard to say. Take it somewhere and have the error codes checked. Some auto parts places will do this for free. You may have an engine not firing on all cylinders. You didn't mention if you have a check engine light on or not. It may be something simple like a dirty fuel filter.

I agree with the other poster in having to see what it is because many things cause a buck including the transmission, engine, tires etc...but probably a coil messing up in the ignition causing the buck.. need to bring it somewheres to have it look at for actual diagnosis

How many miles on it? Sounds like either a failing coil or a bad coil boot. (if it is a V8) If V6, it could be a plug wire.
