i really want to look the way i want by summer, i'll be driving and going to the beach a lot more and stuff and i want to feel confinent....help me!!!!

You have 16 weeks to loose the weight. Really you should only loose 1-2 a week which would be between 16 - 20 lbs by summer. I would suggest Weight Watchers. It is the only program that shows you how to take and keep off the weight with out denying yourself favorite things. The basic concept is to watch your portions, exercise, and make healthy choices. Some bullet points to get you started:

Watch your calorie intake
Drink lots of water
Make changes from regular to low cal/low fat food (ie Diet Soda, Skim Milk, Fat Free Cheese, lean meats, ect)
Exercise a minimum of 3 times a week
Increase your fruits and vegetables

Most importantly, don't give up. If you have a week where you gain back a pound, don't throw away all your hard work, just keep at it. You can do it! Have faith and believe in your self!!

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

If you are really serious it will happen. You need to eat the right type of food, veggies, fruits, and proteins. Drink lots of water and other liquids that are not high in calories (soda is extremely high in calories) and make sure you exercise for 15-20 minutes at least 4 times a week. Don't be radicle about your diet or you will go around feeling as if you are missing something and then you will fail. Allow yourself some treats (frozen yogurt cones, low fat cookies with low fat milk). Decreasing your daily calorie intake and exercising regularly will take the excess weight off quicker than anything but don't be drastic. Talk to your gym teacher about some easy exercises you can do (they always have great ideas), or your family doctor. Good luck and God Bless.

Well i would recommend going to the track at the local highschool or college and running the strate aways and walking the curves. Also, start eating things like tuna, and popcorn and things that are very light in content. This is the only way you are going to lose the weight you want in that amount of time. Keep excercising and eating right.

So you have 4 months to lose the weight...
Whats really working for me is Weight Watchers. In 7 weeks, Ive lost 17.2 lbs. Its all about portion control and exercise.

well, fastest isn't realistic, and if you want to maintain the weight loss long term, you have to take it slow. 1-2 pounds per week. cut calories, but not too much, and exercise - strength training 2-3x/week and cardio 3-5x/week. if you have the motivation you can achieve the results and be healthy by summer. good luck!

Don't laugh but the Special K diet actually works.....lost 16lbs in 3 weeks....not bad right?

Walk ever morning 1 mile for one week ...Then jog 1 mile everyday for 1 week..Then you are ready to lose it... 2miles everyday....Fat can not exist in an active body...I Promise

running and cardio boxing are the fastest ways to loose weight. but be careful to eat better, and NOT more. Exercise does boost your appetite.
